We visited the tip of Cape Point today, saw a submarine casually cruising around False Bay, and drove through part of the national park that burned just in the last couple days. Then Sam cooked us all a lovely five-course dinner including hake and ostrich-stuffed mushrooms. Here’s the aftermath of the fire and the beginning of our dinner. It’s worth pointing out that both photos are shot in color, although the fire has removed a lot.
